A few days ago, we deployed on our servers one of the most important feature of the last few years: unlimited HTML newsletters. Yes, unlimited and HTML :-)
Newsletters are a very important because they are so efficient at broadcasting your message to your website audience (prospects, customers, fans, members...). That's why UGAL has had the feature for a pretty long time and why we are so happy to finally be able to support HTML newsletters.

Search engine update
August 12, 2013
Jean
Your website with UGAL comes with a built-in search engine. Over the last few weeks it became slower than we wanted. After troubleshooting for a while, we have decided to upgrade the search engine to its own server and take advantage of the migration to update Solr, the open source solution we use for search, to its last version.
The move and the update are now complete, and we are glad to report that the search functionality on UGAL is back to its usual fast performance.
Give your search engine a try, and please report any issue or comment to support@ugal.com.

Intranet companies management

Jean
A quick post to let you know that the intranet option was just updated with support for an extra level to manage members: companies.
Companies management for your intranet
This new hierarchical level let you consolidate user data by company, which is useful for example for b2b e-commerce websites where the same customer can have multiple users ordering from your website. By grouping those users within the same company, you can review the orders placed for the compamy, regardless of which user placed it.
Creating and managing companies is done from the "Users" tab. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions about this update.
E-commerce admin order entry
May 6, 2013
Jean
You probably know the "admin view" that allows to quickly view and manage a product catalog. We are happy to launch today the admin order entry, for the e-commerce websites.
With this new feature website administrators can create e-commerce orders without having to navigate the product pages on the website front end. It is of particular interest for b2b websites where pricelists and terms can be complex, as well as for taking phone orders or for private sales.

Breadcrumbs help your visitors figure out the structure of your website. UGAL has supported automatic breadcrumbs for a while, where the displayed breadcrumb is based on the page title. We introduce today the ability to define custom breadcrumbs for any page of your website:
